Help How to roll back to stock rom 2.1/1.6 using recovery

Please HELP!!!!
I need to go back to 2.1 or 1.6 to get my
phone fixed...
It was to risky to use the KDW updater method.
Plus i don't know which file to use it with.
Because my phone is optus australia. GT540G0
But after i updated to the illegal version it said GT540.
So didn't know which one to choose.

So does anyone know how to install stock rom using recovery???

There is no official 2.1 recovery rom, you have to use KDZ updater

But there were stock roms with zip

If you use the link in dudeman's post they are all .kdz files from what I have seen, Also if the downloads are .zips check in them they will contain a .kdz unless you have been looking at the unofficial 2.1 roms then they will be wither fastboot or recovery.

I bought the phone as GT540GO.
But when i check from "About Phone"
It says i am GT540.
So i do not know which file to download.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!
