Root How to root 2.2

I would also like to know if there is a set of instructions to root 2.2 without rolling back, rooting, and upgrading back to 2.2

I am @ 2.2 and i never moved or copied su to the xbin folder. now i cant get write permissions to the xbin folder to put it there. would love to root without rolling back. For christ sakes everytime I i reboot i have a heart attack untill it comes back up.

thanks

I am hoping someone comes up with another one click root for cowardly idiots such as myself. Although I am still not certain how I would have known to do anything with bins from following the directions on the regular site (please note -I am not blaming anyone for the fact that I followed those directions and I am not criticizing the poster -they were very clear and easy- just saying it did not mention anything about su or bins)
