Root How to root Micromax A25 by Mastermind

do not you go into recovery = volumme down + power + home
and you choose to back up data that it will save the file on your sdcard it will be. backup

yes dude i done it using win xp...
Install driver manually, select scatter file and uncheck da download from option menu and flash...
After flashing use unlock root if not working and u can not find superuser app in app drawer... Then use superone click. it will work 100%...
U can connect me via teamviewer...
I can do it...
Plz can u give its firmware?
 
hey do anyone have stock rom of this device i heard we can obtain it from micromax ftv server but it shows imcorrect password (google for micromax ftp server)..well i have taken romdump but can anyone tell me what is the use of it...I thing its just a backup of system..maybe if our device got brick we can flash them..so can any one tell me how to flash them...another thing i want to ask is can we install galaxy y stock rom in our phone using rom manager pro...so that we can use 3g and do whatever we want (as galaxy y is famous and it is easier to search any thing for galaxy y istead of our micromax a25...maybe we can install CWM and much more) and also can we use OTG feature to connect pendrive, keyboard and mouse to our phone...if not how can we do that...???
 
hey friends we can go in recovery mode and install roms....
to go in recovery mode press vol up + home + power button
then it will show an android...
press home key or menu key and you will se all the features including apply update from sd card...
So dear... plz make rom for this phone..can we install android 4.0.4 in this phone...
 
We can also flash roms using rom manager pro or by going in recovery by pressing vol up + home key + power and then by pressing the home button then we will see apply update from sd card...try that if you have update.zip

X-zoom 3.0 do u think this rom will work in a25? it is made for a52 but a25 and a52 are totally same devices in terms of hardware.i checked in detail

unfortunately i had flashed wrong cwm recovery on my mobile some days ago which is not working i m also looking for stock recovery.
 
I have backup of my a25...
I m using terminal emulater and su command for rom backup....
and I have boot.img, recovery.img but don't have system.img its in system.tar format.... can anybody help to convert into system.img
sorry for bad eng ;-)

try to take rom dump.it can be used even if u r phone is completely dead

also unrooted the phone successfully by reversing the procedure.. :)
used superoneclick.
 
My android recovery has gone. can any1 help me??
when i try to go into recovery white screen appears and the phone automatically reboots.. I am new to this stuff.. but i unrooted my phone successfully..
