Root How to root Micromax A25 by Mastermind

for all brick devices download stock rom and flash it without inserted ur phone battery it will successfullly flash I have un bricked my phone its easy

i play temple run 2 on a25, without any lag, without any ram, etc manager, without root.... its supported by a25....

bt i am waiting if someone can help me in rooting my phone,,, i tried every possible technique... :/
 
now i bricked my phone completely nd it is not showing any charging or boot screen or anything... completely dead....
i wonder why i had to be so hard on a new phone which i hadn't used for more than a week. :( :(
thanks everyone for not replying to my queries....
bt i still know there is slight chance to unbrick my phone because it is still recognized by pc as Media tech USB Vcom something driver.

Sorry bro i haven't check the fourms...u should not use sp flash tool until u know what u r doing...well MTK based phone Cannot be bricked anyhow..so there is 100% chance to revert ur phone back...first of all please tell me few things u r facing now..are u still getting partition size changed..if so are all the boxes are ticked...if all the boxes are not ticked tell me the boxes which are ticked and which are not ticked...based on this i will try to make an scatter file and will give u a trick to revert ur phone...but first tell me whatever i hv asked...if possible give me screenshots..
 
bro now my phone is not booting up..
i have downloaded stock room from ftp micromax server..
tried it... tried every things...
wht i did wrong was "formatting whole flash" in SP Flash tool... :/
now i get only this error.. whtever is try to do
"s_brom_cmd_startcmd_fail (2005)"

am awake till yesterday.. googling evrywhere...
trying almost evry possible thing....
i have a tri- boot configuration on my lappy ( windows 8, ubuntu 12.04 LTS, windows Xp sp3 ).. see if something helps with these.
 
bro what u hv done is flash the whole nand storage which simply means u hv formatted everything including system file, kernel and everything...what u can do is after u click the download button to flash the stock rom just insert ur phone's cable while pressing Power up button it will take u to the meta-mode the u will be able to successfully flash u phone...please click thanks if i helped u....

now plzzz tell me wht next.. should i download your cwm recovery... directly or modified boot.img by mastermind or wht ? :)

how to root now nd my phone can't start just battery charging is back nd infinite logo screen ?
 
current installing "stock rom modified.zip" through cwm...
its showing "installing jellyboom" from last 5 mins....

well i hv given that stock rom to a guy to just unbrick his phone..except it that is useless...and modification zip is not included...it will take approximately tem minutes to install..so be patient...if u got succeed in installing that rom u will be rooted with some othere options..to get themed flash my modification.zip...if u wanna be rooted i m going to provide a zip soon to root our micromax a25 even from stock recovery to everyone The signature error will not come more now...gonna provide it soon..well enjoy..for the latest updates join my site

i didn't coz i already had proceeded with my technique...
i had to deselect preboot nd DSP DL, only then i was able to flash else error was comming.. :/

if u want me to proceed with procedure, i had to format my phone again...

nd am still stuck at micromax loga screen, wht to do ?
 
am not able to format it, same error is comming like before...
i restored stock recovery...
bt i need something to put inside phone, its like a pc without os.. :D
 
Hello frndzzzzz can anybody tell how to modify updater script for a custom rom..!!! i have deodexed rom and everything is ready except updater script
 
@adi open sp flash tool use use scatter file to brick ur phone like u did before after that remove battery from ur phone and connect ur phone to pc and see mediatek usb vcom driver is detecting or not after that open sp tool and flash micromax a25 stock rom u downloaded select all box in sp tool and click DOWNLOAD button

Bro u have to make it...but i can give u a framework..
first u have to get the mount points of ur system them extract system from zip file to phone then set permissions and symlinking then unmount and u r done...i hv prepared an updater script for my custom rom in which i m working...if u hv any query fell free to post that..
 
Temple run 2 worked after second update
because they fixed resolution of 320x240

with Chainfire it works simply smooth

For sign errors in any update or modification zip
just download the file, manually sign APKs or update.zip
i have provided method for it above search it!

For bricked persons there are many possible ways to unbrick
Flash and install Stock ROM
use CWM if you can
install zip(stock rom) with help of CWM
just give complete details of error :D

Vaibhav best luck for development for custom ROM a25 and ask for help if needed :D;)
