Root How to Root Micromax A75

And if u have installed SDK(but i don't think so according to ur post), then u get that error because u have not set environment variable for ADB path.So simple is to add the path to env.variable or in command prompt, go to ADB directory n then apply ADB commands.
e.g. if ADB is in C:\SDK\adb.exe then path on ur command prompt should be C:\SDK\

And prerequisite for working of SDK n ADB is Java, so first install JDK (Google it) form Oracle n then extract MiniSDK by me n use ADB.

as i m having the latest updates provided by the MMX SERVICE CENTER and these are the details

The updates what i have got have this changes in about phone

The change what i have observed is

but cant do it as its was not detecting the phone so finally dicided to flash it with recovery and then get the backup of the Stock ROM and had BACKED it up successfully. Now i have the new updated backup of MMX STOCK ROM... Finally did it had tried to install ADB SDK JDK and installed them after working whole 1 week and had got the scatter files of my phone i was so happy to see that scatter file and all the things were also working till the sp flash tool work started and when it has to backup the STOCK ROM it dint detected the phone. I was trying to that since from morning and at 4pm concluded that its not going to work as if had tried to work with sp flash tool for more then 5 hours had kept the phone attached once 30mins next for 1 hour nad then tried randomly tring to press other buttons also but was only waiting for sp flash tool to detect the phone but it dint so had flashed the lastest recovery by mastermind which supports sd2ext using sp flash tool and had successfully flashed it and then took BACKUP of STOCK ROM. Its 270mb with 6 files in the backup folder.

Hey now i need the super user zip to flash via recovery so that i can have my phone ROOTED so buddies please provide me links to download it. Waiting for your replies.

Hey i did the same thing first i just flash the recovery by sp flash tool and then just flash the super user zip and now my phone is rooted with the least simplest way and i have installed busy bax installer but it was not installing the latest version so i tried all then it installed the last version thats 1.14.3 and had installed the Titanium backup also so now am i all set to free my phone space and get that 73mb spared space what mastermind have mentioned as i want to know how he got that free space as if i tried it before also but dint find any so can you or mastermind anyone eloborate it that how can i free up the space and also use it for installing the apps. Please let me know about this please....:)

Just use TB to Delete the apps and ya also delete the dalvik cache!

Thanks for the info.I think varun has moved his whole work to somewhere else or he is cleaning up old junk, don't know..
I will add my own modded boot.img to mediafire n add to the OP soon.

Hey there is one more method we can do as did that i had flashed the MODDED RECOVERY by you using SP Flash Tool then i just have Flash the Super User Zip in CWM recovery and i rooted my A75 within a minute in these two simple steps however when i flash with SP Flash Tool after the Flashing completes it gives a EBoot ERROR but it only just an ERROR message as after that when i rebooted my phone in recovery its done i m in CWM recovery so i think this is the much simple and easiest way to ROOT A75. What u say??? ;) ;) ;)

The method I posted was before CWM was complete..u can check first 5-6 post to get an idea of that.N method u saying is easiest one indeed but it needs CWM which was not available at the time of posting this thread.Varun made it but we all were receiving bricking incidents so at that time this was the proper method to root A75.:p

You have choice of custom pre-rooted rom like UB roms...I liked rom but the problem was we can't use spared system storage of about 73mb to add apps.Apps added to /system/app/ don't showed up after reboot.
Beauty of this rooting method is you can add apps to /system/app/ later n they will showed up next time after reboot.

There is no guaranty that this will work so giving it "BETA" tag but it worked for me so it should work for others too.

FOR MICROMAX A75 DEVICE:

Requirements:
1. Drivers installed on system, both specific drivers n ADB drivers (here)
2. Unsecured boot.img: here (Credits- me)
3. UnlockRoot: here (Credits- Respective developer)

You may also try SuperOneClick if u prefer it.I used UnlockRoot.

Method:
1. Flash downloaded modded boot.img to device.
- U must know by the time how to flash A75 using SPFlashTool (See Here for Info or here)
- Put newer boot.img replacing existing one
- Tick only BOOT (boot.img)
- Download
- Let it finish.

2. Power on device.

3. Enable USB Debugging.
- Settings > Application tab > Applications > Development > USB Debugging

4. Install UnlockRoot in pc

5. Attach device in debugging mode to pc.

6. Now Run UnlockRoot program and click Root button

7. Confirm online device Micromax A75 in the list which pop-up.

8. Let in finish the procedure and Restart device.(I manually restarted device)

Viola...A75 is rooted in simplest n proper way.

UnlockRoot does not install Busybox on device so after u rooted the device install busybox to work with many root apps.Search Play Store for Busybox Installer by Jrummy.


FOR MITO898 DEVICE:

Unsecure boot.img with init.d support for mito898 device (indonesian clone of A75): mito898-boot.img

Hey can you MOD my boot.img and provide me the Unsecure boot.img of my phone as if while using CeltICS i am facing Bootloop problem and i dont know what is the problem might be as i have just flashed the Recovery with sd2ext support provided by u and havent flashed the boot.img thinking that as i have the new updates so might be that wont be helping me. So can u download my boot.img from here its the CWM backup so i request you to download it and MOD the boot.img and provide me the Unsecure boot.img which can be flash with SP Flash tool. Hello guys help me please .. I root my phone last night but there is a problm in last prosess . I click root button there Shows micromax click that button also but after that there Shows . (Attention ... Failed to get Shell Root ! After that i want to format my phone but they didnt format . I switch off my mobile. & I press dis keys Start Button + Volume . dis both function not worked right now .. :(
 
I don't want to root my micromax A75...i just need a app that perfectly works with a75 which can help me switching on my phone using volume button or proximity sensor..my power button is not working properly..

Install Magic Locker app, it supports wake up by volume rocker.
 
after flashing boot.img by the one provided by you my A75 gets white screen whenever i disconnect any call. i can see nothing so each time after disconnecting the call i hav to take out my battery and then switch on my phone. its works gud for some minutes and again if a call comes and after talking i disconnect the call screen become white. it also become white when the screen is locked and i push the power button to unlock. what appear is a white screen. please help me with the solution.

But when i start rooting in mentioned software UNLOCK ROOT PRO, rooting doesn't completes and it says that "rooting failed. Wait for upgrade". whats the problem ?? can anyone tell me plz.
