Root How to Root Optimus 2X?

Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum. I have joined this forum today in the morning. I am new to android too. LG Optimus 2X is my second android phone after short use of Samsung Galaxy Ace. I purchased my Optimus from eBay since it's not released in Qatar. I figured my Optimus is not having good battery life as my galaxy ace. I searched internet and found some tips which can help me to make battery life longer. I saw somewhere that if we root the phone then we can unistall Car Home which is consuming more power. I was trying to root the phone with z4root, gingerbreak and SuperOneClick but all of them were unsucessful. Can somebody help to root my phone?


My current android version is: 2.3.4 V20L

try this :
1:download SuperOneClick on your computer.
2:connect your phone to your computer.
3:and turn on USB debugging! ( Settings - Application - development)
4: make sure your Phone is connected to your computer ,and launch SuperOneClick.
5: click "Root" and just follow the instructions.
6: after you are done with that ,click "Allow Non Market Apps".
7: Your done!

I did all that ;) I have rooted and flashed before. But rusty said there was no other way as on now. I will give that unlock root a go soon. Thanks

Its work on fido optimus 2x. i used Superoneclick 1.8 version.Thanks.
