I'm using ##LGSERVICEMENU, and I don't see anything noticably different. Perhaps I should be using another keycode? Is there an odex that goes with this apk?But here Stock S3 hidden menu http://db.tt/C65RhNVJ

No problem. I'm about to go to sleep now, so I'll do it when I wake up. If it still shows nothing, anything else I might try?No odex
Try to see if entering *#*#4636#*#* gets you anywhere

Tried the network lock probably just let's you use a sim card from another carrier if your able to switch to gsmNo problem. I'm about to go to sleep now, so I'll do it when I wake up. If it still shows nothing, anything else I might try?
PS:
Under the LGSerMenu, the setting NETWORK LOCK may have some value. Unlocking the network may open up options in other areas of the menus (or possibly not). idk. Just a thought.
PPS:
I screwed up my phone with one of the settings in the menus. I think it was the CDG2? The result was that trying to download any new apps resulted in disk out of space error. Thankfully I did a system backup in advance. So restored it and everything was good again.
night night
Yea I'm out of options, only thing thats left is to try ##PROGRAM770*#*#4636#*#*
That gives nothing, neither with the default or S3 HiddenMenu.apk
So I guess I'm out of options for now. No sign of gsm yet.
Oh gosh yeah, brain loop. I remember that phone info app reportsThat's one of the menus you get when you do *#*#4636#*#* but LG blocked it, it's also blocked on the s3 but you can just use the phone info app to bypass it
Wonder how LG's blocking it because i remember on the app before it popped up "This application does not work on this device" all the information & settings had loaded.Oh gosh yeah, brain loop. I remember that phone info app reports

Yes,
you click on NAM Programming .
Then you click on Edit
Then, the first thing is MDN which contains your phone number, click ok
Then you have the MIN which also contains your phone number, click ok
Then you have SID which is normally 6503, but can differ based on location, click ok
Now, hit Done
The phone should reboot.
Now, everything network wise is reset / refreshed.
Just don't change anything.
Feel free to do this very simple process if your data is acting weird, texts are slow, or you're not receiving texts at all. This can do wonders.
I noticed when I do this my MIN number is not the same as my phone number. I had someone walk me through this on the phone at Metropcs and they said that was correct that the number is a different number for the MIN but they didn't elaborate (or know) why. Do you know what this min is?

same question I was going to ask?
From what I got from a Metro worker MIN is an identifier of the location your phone was activated from.
