Help How to unlock the s2?

Hey Guys,

I am getting my Samsung S2 today but I believe it is locked to T mobile. I have little knowledge of rooting etc.. Please can you guys give me advise of how I need to go about unlocking this phone to any network carrier? Do I need to root it first than install the Unlock S2 app from the Market place?

Really would appreciate some advice.. Many thanks.

Hello Buddy,

I have successfully rooted my phone and it now has CWM and Superuser.. I have installed the S2 Unlock app and ran the app twice but after sometime it is unable to find an unlock code The phone is locked to T-Mobile UK .. Please can you or any other good people here help me out please.. Many Thanks!

If the app won't find the code then I think the only solution is to get the unlock code from T-Mobile.
