Root How to unroot from easy root and/or get back HTC FB sync

Hi I was using easy root and it would not work for me. I got to the 3rd step but kept giving me errors. Now I got a half rooted phone but do not want to try to root anymore. But now I realized after installing everything back due to failure to root that my Facebook won't sync as it get error that service is down. Can someone please help me!

So easy root went through all 4 steps but errors on 3rd and 4th. and thus I can go to recovery mode but not fully rooted. do I need to do anything special to revert back to nonroot?

dont know that 'easyroot' method but if you can flash the RUU then you can do that

I'd like to get back to complete stock, and I've tried doing the ruu stock rom flash exe thing, but it never works. It reboots into "recovery" then just stays at a black screen with "htc" just sitting there, and then it eventually times out and says to make sure that the phone is plugged into the computer... any suggestions?
