Newbie
if i factory reset, will that unroot my phone, i tried to root and idk what i did i got stuck mid way and i stopped do, can i factory reset, cuz it says i am low on space and im scared

I'm no dev or anything and pretty new to android but from my ipod touch jailbreaking experience a hard reset would typically save me from total doom no matter what my problem was. just back up things like contacts and whatever else you dont want to lose. maybe backup or write down the apps you have installed so you can reinstall them. good luck bud hope you can get it fixed.

download 'shootme' from the market and try to run it. it requires root so if it doesn't work, you'll know.

and no you aren't rooted if you just run pc36img, you also need to add the su superuser file

and what does "flash recovery" do?

Mm, if you want to equate it to your computer. I'd say 'recovery' is like the BIOS menu when you boot your computer giving you boot options, and ROMS are like OS's (windows)
Flashing a recovery or ROM means you're installing, or re-installing the specific 'recovery' or ROM on your phone.
