How do I upgrade my android version.

What device do you have?

Otherwise go into your settings, scroll all the way to the bottom and you should see "software update" or something to that effect.

Have you tried going into the phone's settings, scroll down to the bottom, tap "about phone" and i think theres an option there to check for updates?

4.1.2 is the latest and almost certainly the last official release. If you want something newer you'll need to install a custom ROM. Look at XDA Developer Forums for many options.
