Root How to WIPE DATA, CACHE, DALVIK

  • 1.) Download the .zip & copy to phone or sdcard (make sure 4g or wifi is enabled if dl'd from phone).
  • 2.) Zip can be installed from either internal or external sd in CWM
  • 3.) MAKE A BACKUP
  • 4.) WIPE DATA!!! WIPE CACHE!!! WIPE DALVIK!!!
  • 5.) Go to install zip from sdcard
  • 6.) Select either from external or internal
  • 7.) Select Black_Plague_signed.zip
  • 8.) Confirm selection
  • 9.) Reboot

First Welcome to AF!!!Nice run down bro,but your actually explaining on how to install a custom ROM,you might wanna changed it around and explain on how to wipe. thx ;)

Welcome to AF. What you attempted to explain is preached on EVERY install of a ROM, Kernel or tweak post if it's needed. For future reference.
 
Sorry, I actually tried to delete my post because I figured it out before ya'll could post. Thanks to all anyways and I have another question whats the difference between a theme and a rom?

haha yeah were just playing around though lol

to answer your question, a THEME is just pieces of a rom with ui tweaks added to be flashed over a ROM

and a ROM is your androis OS you're running [in our case 2.3.4 ROM(s)]

i dont know what that is..^^ but put it this way... say this name is your rom 'LDRIFTA' so a theme would be if i took the 'DR' out of that and changed them to lower-case (theme/change), then flash the theme on top of the rom to have this as an end result 'LdrIFTA' so it is stock 'LDRIFTA' with a theme 'dr' lol

Im so lost I dont think i can find my way back... Quickly I must wipe data but I forgot how... Damn it!

Maybe everyone will get the point of your nonchalant ways of saying "my F'ing name is L drifta. Not I drifta. LLLLL. NOT iiiii Do we need to go over our alphabet again?"
