How's your signal after update?

I haven't noticed anything different. Was there supposed to be a change?

The baseband (radio) was updated, so there is a potential for change. I guess it depends on your area if the update helped your signal or not.

I believe it is more likely the reporting of signals that may have changed. I guess some tweaking of the digital signal processing could be applied in an OTA update but it couldn't change the RF front end hardware.
