Gooday folks. I am having difficulty moving photos from my phone to my PC via cable. When I plug the phone to the PC, with the supplied cable, I am advised that there are no new photos on the phone. I have over a hundred new photos taken last week that I need to upload but right now I am stymied. I have previously been able to do so. Also when plugged in, if I open picasa, it recognises that the phone is attached but also sees no new photos. ???

Not sure whats going on but you could try using our very own Backup Routine for us All script that we have written It does have a few requirements but will be able to backup the entire SDCARD(S) to your computer.

There is also Airdroid which doesn't require cables and is the method I use a bit to move things from device to computer or vice versa.

Why not just open up the phone on MyComputer and copy>paste the photos to your PC?

or get google drive or dropbox installed on both computer and phone

Thanks for the replies. I understand there are myriad ways I could go about this, but my point is, I would like to be able to view what is on my phone, edit,delete or otherwise. Just asking?

so does your pc recognize the phone? do you have htc sync installed? are your drivers updated?

Same thing. Just open your phone on My Computer, navigate to the folder with pictures, and you'll see them.

Thanks again. Yes my PC recognizes the phone, just that I can't see my photos under the normal option of DCIM. Anthow. I have found a way now so all is good. Thanks again.
