HTC Aria on June 7th?

That's it! That's the name of the HTC phone I wrote about here! (Notice I thought it was Aura or Aurora but couldn't remember.)
 
Aha! I guess that rep wasn't pullin' yer leg after all ;)

So I guess it could be this phone? Oh man, I hope the hardware's up-to-snuff. QWERTY-lovers rejoice...
 
Here's the problem I see with that... June 7th is a Monday. That means they could announce the phone but not launch(AT&T launches on Sundays). So if this is true then at least we have something solid to anticipate, but when will we see it?
 
Oh, and nice job to both of you for finding that info! If this pans out it looks as if some Best Buy employees may actually have credibility!
 
Speculation's already out there that they're saying the 7th b/c of an impending iPhone-to-Verizon announcement...

I could see that, sadly it will still just be an announcement. Let's just hope the release isn't far behind. June 13th works for me! :cool:
 
Good lord, we're so hard up that the date of an announcement gets us psyched, even over a phone we have no idea whats inside it.... But considering our wait time for the dell aero...eek

Judging by Engadget's exclusive hands on with it, I wouldn't expect much from the Aero. Also if the phone from the FTC leak is indeed the new HTC phone coming to AT&T, I am going to punch a baby. Seriously. That thing is ugly, and I don't want an HTC slider. I want a slate. Here's to hoping that a subsidized Nexus One comes out on AT&T.
 
*cough* I started the thread. I was the one who linked the unwiredview article with the FCC (not FTC) photos.

I was referring to pics of you punching said baby.
 
Speaking of lancaster...well I spoke of it in another post...perhaps this aria is just a revamped lancaster since that one was never delivered...Hope they upgraded the insides a little, but its possible they might not have done much for it.
 
I am right along with those questioning the date. Why would AT&T want to try and take anything away from the cash cow they have.
