Sorry. I didn't mean to get off topic, just discussing. I bet a few people are sensitive when I mention the word iPhone. ;)

Almost 5pm where I am...still no new Bravo/Incredible news??? Hmmm..... What does one make of that?...makes you think...

I think that if we haven't heard of any new news TODAY, FEBRUARY 4TH, that it MUST mean that there will not be any new phones released until next year. I mean holy crap, it's Thursday already. That's right THURSDAY. Might as well be 2012! We absolutely had to have known something by now! How else can life continue if we don't have new news TODAY (yes, I read newsradio's post. I still enjoy them and will wait until there's something to say)

Funny coding joke ^

Anyway guys, there is no sense in bugging the heck out of News. When he gets the news, he'll have it; when he doesn't have the news, he won't have it, but when he doesn't, there in no sense in making more and more comments flooding this thread. :)

amen !

You know, Steve Jobs recently said that the next gen of iPhone will pull Android to the curb, and they won't be able to catch up. Any comments?

Let's just say for a minute that Apple actually plays catch-up on hardware and releases a 1GHz processor 4" AMOLED display 5MP with flash and HD video recording (and we've just blown their incremental upgrade path for the next four years here), I have a hard time believing they'll enable multi-tasking or any real customization to the mobile OS. But let's say, for arguments sake, that they do all this and blow Android out of the water. You're looking at $399 with a two year contract for a 32GB iphone, period. If Jobs indeed throws his all into the next gen iphone, he'll be throwing his all into pricing as well. Par for the course. Game over. Android lives! This is why Apple hasn't kicked the PC to the curb which they have allegedly blown out of the water for years, nor any other portable music player. With Apple, it has always been a price/performance trade-off and it always will be. It is what keeps them from dominating market share in any particular segment (except maybe with the ipod where they actually have a reasonable entry level price point despite the extreme lack of features).

I imagine newsradio will finally bring us this late breaking news right after everyother news outlet brings us this info. That way he can spam it all over this forum and spout off claims all the while that he told us so. Dude if you're going to make outrageous claims and never back anything up why not just say something like, "oh I'm not sure if you heard but I'm the inventer of pants."

Epic fail.

just a quick question... when does this "thursday" end? eastern? central? i think it might be california time so as to be more convenient lol j/k j/k

he has already posted that he had contact with his contact and is waiting for an email with pics (i think he said there were pics) so this should be atleast to some extent "the news we've all been waiting for"!!!

I think news is in Europe, so Thursday is already over.

he may be right, he may be wrong. Just settle down and give the guy a chance.

Technically, he is already wrong. He said he would have something Thursday, he didn't, so he is wrong. Whether he is ultimately wrong is still yet to be seen, but he hasn't had a very good track record so far.

Great point. Slug, don't worry -- we'ere actually ending it here. The only iPhone advantage is the fact that it can play iTunes DRM movies and tv shows.
