Hi,
Just got the HTC desire phone. And I have to say it's quite a promising phone. But when trying to connect to the home network, easy network setup wasn't available.
What I mean with easy wi-fi setup, is that I just press a button on the router and the phone and router sync itself without typing the network key.
My previous phone Nokia 5800 had this ability, and I just pressed the button on the router (dir-655) and everything went automatically.
Is this function available on android? If so how do I enable this?
The phone is now connected to the wi-fi and working flawlessly, but its a really pain to type in all the keys for local network. I know this is a one time thing, but sometime If I have to change the key in the router or have to reset the phone, and then I have to keep typing in these keys. This saved med a lot of time with the Nokia 5800, since I have a long and strong password.
