Accessories Htc desire cases

My local independent phone shop is getting what they have assured me will be a case specifically designed for the desire tomorrow so I'll let you all know if they do
 
Bought a pouch made for the iphone 3Gs today, fits perfectly and is just plain black. Quite like it.

Also i wanted to try a screen protector so i bought one from HTC for the touch HD2 and cut it to match the desire (can't see its there apart from one corner but meh!) and it looks good and you can't feel em. Definitely a fan of the htc screen protectors
 
well fellow androids, today is thursday, and after receiving my new case, its the same case i got sent before, mobilefun.co.uk have screwed me again, it even said specficaly shaped for the extra chin, its all bu**sh**, nexus one gel skin AGAIN, has anyone, anyone at all found gel skins for the htc desire?
 
I did kind of wonder why people kept posting the same link over and over again... even after people had complained about it... then they kept ordering it.
It's madness!

I wouldn't purchase from them on principle, even if it does kind of fit. But it doesn't. I use my power button a lot, I don't want it covered.

Mobilefun are just trying to make money on this item before official cases come out.

I haven't seen any.
 
I've gone back to my Krussel Leather pouch while I send the FlexiShield back, here are some pics.

Not usually a big fan of leather cases, pouches etc, but I have to admit this one looks really good. Very tempted to order one of these myself! :)
 
I have the Krussel pouch and it's very good. Snug fit.

I have read on another forum that the metal badge on the front could damage your screen. I suppose if it was forced against it, it might. I just slip my Desire in the other way round so the metal badge is against the back.

Just a precaution, you'd have to be pretty unlucky to damage it like that.

I have this too, fits extremely well.
 
The Krussell case is quite nice but a bit pricy for a temporary case while I wait for more choice. I've picked up one of the Mofi pouches in the meantime. I'm definitely comfortable with the protection it offers, though ideally I'll switch to a leather case once I find one that works in both landscape and portrait modes without flaps getting in the way!
