Accessories Htc desire cases

Please post new cases found here, is there is anyone that can confirm that the Htc Desire, and Google Nexus One, are the same size for cases? if so, please put nexus one cases here as well. Thanks,
 
I ordered this:

Amzer Perfect Leather Pouch - Black For Google - Cases

Because I want something simple but elegant.

I prefer my device naked, but I dont like hard leather pouch cases.

So, I thought the above soft leather and simple little fitted bag would be good.

I dont know the build quality, never seen / touch the product.

And I hope the above would fit, it should because not much size difference between HTC Desire and Google Nexus, except the mini chin :)

I really cant seem to find any decent cases for this phone, early days yet i know.. guess i will have to settle for a pouch in the mean time which im not happy about!
 
The shapes of the Nexus One and Desire, though very similar, are not the same. Even if they had the same LxWxD, it doesn't mean the shapes would be the same.

For example the Desire chin will stop it fitting the tight Nexus One cases and vice versa. I think over at Tracy and Matt's blog they already commented in their review that even though the Desire doesn't have the N1 style contacts, it's different shape means it doesn't fit the dock anyway. The N1 is sliiiiightly more rounded than the slightly more square Desire.

If you're getting a loose case then you can probably get away with it. Tight cases? Wait till they are specially made so you can get that snug fit all round.
 
I really want a flip cover one, I'm not into the pull out pouch types. I've got a leather pouch for my PSP, which is fine for that, but not for a phone when I have to find somewhere to put the pouch while I'm using it for like 30 seconds.

Hopefully some good cases will filter into the market soon enough.
 
I use the android case that came with my N1, its a perfect fit if you can find one, nice and soft and holds the phone perfectly without being loose in it.

The problem with using cases designed for other phones is they have holes cut out for the speakers/camera etc which may be in different places on the Desire.
