Hi. My phone has not arrived yet, but I'm already planning to buy a "Krusell Luna" pouch. I need your knowledge, whether black or brown color pouch suits HTC Desire better. It seems the same brown one is ~4 pounds more expensive than the black one, why is so?

I got this case direct from PDair, with a free keyring. Took 5 days from hongkong, and came in a nice box.

Very protective, but my niggle is the screen cover isnt as tough as I'd thought. Would have prefered something with a hard cover like the Proporta case, but couldnt wait any longer for them to put up some pics and confirm their book case.

Otherwise the PDair case is pretty good. The stitching isnt as bright/in your face in the flesh.
 
Hi - I am thinking of getting the htc leather pouch. Has anyone got it and if so, what affect does it have on the ring volume, i.e. can you hear the phone ringing if it's in the pouch in your pocket?

Anyone have any sport band cases? I want one to go running with my Desire, so I can use Runkeeper or endmondo. And dont want phone in pocket, im assuming on arm would be better for gps accuracy.

Any recommendations

Bought this one myself and I agree that it is a fantastic screen protector. Comes with its own little cloth for cleaning the screen and a piece of hard cardboard to help press the protector onto the screen. I found it very easy to apply, just took my time and made sure it was aligned. It has a tiny tab that you can hold as you apply the protector so you don't get any finger prints on the sticky side.

I've played with it most of the day and find its got a smooth feel to it so your finger or thumb won't feel like its sticking to it that some other protectors mentioned here have done. No loss either on sensitivity that I can see.

Longevity and scratch resistance are the only things I can't comment on.

Only bothered 2 put screen and rear on rest too fiddley
Have noticed that device runs very warm on rear when gps is on for maps or Google maps

i have a problem with HTC desire bluetooth. It doesn't connect to my bluetooth device through my application when i passes 128 bit UUID.
 
I've bought item 280505907475 (on eBay.com.au) and waiting for it to arrive. Comes with some kind of rubber/plastic case and a screen protector. Has anyone bought one the same and can tell me what to expect? Otherwise I'll report back here once I've tried it out.

That looks the same as the one I bought and it fits very well. I use a HTC screen protector though.
 
I purchased this one from ebay, cost me €2.89.. After 2 weeks it has been delivered to me from China (that's very quick, I didn't expect it at this time)

It's very cheap build but edges does match each other! This case weight is about 30g, that makes desire pretty bulky. I actually like the color, dark red bring some life into Desire's grey!

Hope I'm not to late with this. haven't got pics but I've just bought one of these and wish I hadn't. It looks good and the leather is very good quality but:- The clasp that holds the phone in the case is metal and is covered inside by some thin cloth. It is not integrated into the back of the case very well at all and sticks out into the back of the phone. So the back of the phone is resting on the metal covered clasp which runs from one side to the other leaving a gap between the phone and everywhere else at the back of the case. Very disappointed - completely spoils what could have been a good case for me :(

I won't be using it and have gone back to my gel one for now.

i have this case - its fine. I think the gap is supposed to be there.
 
it does not bother me but what does is the phones ability to slide up and down through the clasp - i stuck some paper in there on the side clasp and it is nice and tight now.

Prepared to live with it due to high proetction level - already saved the phone once
 
Thanks to Marx and toneclone for the input on the ProPorta.

Protections is the #1 for me and I have it on order.
My second choice would be PDair but someone bought it and thought it didn't have much protection.

The whole thing may be moot for me anyway. HTC is backordered with Clove and I don't know if they will get it in time to meet me on my trip to Scotland.

Does anyone know of another reputable place to get Desire SIM free - in stock?
