haha. Once you get ITIL accredited, you find yourself applying the methodology and common sense to everything. If the missus asks me to clean the bathroom, I make her submit a request for change.

I am both the change manager and impact assesor but she is the business owner so she gets what she wants
 
fk itil, its got a gay name and its fundamentals are backwards. ITIL is only used as a recruitment bargaining tool.

All it is is common sense. But then put in a language no one can understand. The key to passing is translating it into English then it all makes sense and is very useful.
 
Actually this has really helped me understand a few things that were mysteries to me up until now and great to have things like the vids etc and some terms explained all in one place.

Have been puzzling over the strings of mods in peoples sigs for a while now

I think the problem I have had is that a lot of the guides assume a certain level of knowledge but there is nowhere to go to get to that level. Sometimes reading the forums and other guides means you are confronted with acronyms and things you just don't understand.

This may not be all things to all men but has certainly helped me - though I lurk on AF most of the day as it is better than working... :D

Anyway, thanks from me. Understand everyone's points and all well made but it has been helpful to me.
