I've been an iPhone user since the beginning and played around with Galaxy S and DHD.
Why iPhone is better?
Better camera even though it's 5MP
Gorgous screen. No phone beats it.
Better apps.
Louder speaker.
Best customer support.
Sexier. Smaller.
A lot better battery life. Depends on usage obviously but standby lasts around 3 days.
Can be jailbroken easier than DHD can be rooted.
Multitouch is better ie smoother scrolling.
Why DHD is better?
Bigger screen.
Adobe Flash support
Android is more customisable. You'd have to jailbreak iPhone.
If you really really want Flash 10.1, which'll make your DHD battery even worse then go for it.
iPhone 4 jailbroken easily beats an Android phone. Only flash player is buggy on iPhone as it's kind of a port.
I'd check out Android in about a year when it'll be better.
