Root HTC DESIRE - - root problems.

I have rooted my HTC Desire using unrevoked3.

When i try to install a rom using rom manager, it takes me to clockworkmod recovery.

Here it says:

ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.0.7
E:Can't find MISC:
E:Can't mount CACHE: recovery/command
E:Can't find MISC:
E:Can't mount CACHE: recovery/log
E:Can't find MISC:

Any help would be appreciated

Delete ROM Manager - it causes a lot of problems on the desire.

You can get into a proper recovery installation by pressing the volume down key when booting the device and selecting recovery from the menu. Do everything from there.

Instructions for flashing ROMs this way are in the rooting FAQ (sticky post at top of forum, or linked in my sig). Rastaman just included them in a post a few mins ago in another thread.

Also, take both recovery (nandroid) and titanium backups before doing this.

you have a pvt4 40000 erase size device
you will need to re-root using amonRA 2.0.1 recovery
