I have a HTC Desire Z on Virgin pay as you go. I've set the phone as per Virgin settings, but I still can't send or recieve photos. I rang Virgin, they couldn't help either, we tried three different settings, they ended up suggesting I take the phone into one of their shops for them to sort out!! Has anyone solved the problem?

Sadly it doesn't work, but thanks for trying.
Unless another Virgin PAYG customer can chime in with an answer, I think comparing settings with a working handset in a store might be the best solution.
SORTED - BUY A NEW SIM CARD!
I had bought a new sim, but used it in my old mobile (now my spare phone).
I wanted to keep my old number, I could actually remember it - there's the problem. My old sim was just too old to do the job in my smart new HTC Desire Z.
I can now send and receive photos.
It shows how useless Virgin customer services are - after giving me numerous combinations of settings my phone still wouldn’t send or receiving photos.
Virgin is in the business, you’d think they’d ask if I was using an old sim card.
I’m sure most of us would keep our old number if possible, but obviously it’s NOT always possible, Virgin customer services surely should have known.
