Are the ones above good? Any recommendations?

I got those HTC original protectors. The first one failed because of hairs etc. under it and second almost as bad. If I was in a clean room then maybe I'd managed to install it perfectly. Bottom line is that if you install it well it's good.

Because the original ones failed I got a Invisible Shield protector from Zagg.com. The contrast is not as good as with the original one but the installation was easier (because of installation liquid) and I'm very happy with it.

Which one do you think is best ?

I can give Clear Protector a definite thumbs-up.... I've had one of their 'Extended Armor' sets fitted to my Hero for 14mths and it's still perfectly usable. Screen sensitivity isn't affected, although it feels very slightly 'draggier' than the bare glass.

Right now I've got an HTC SP P400 fitted to my Z and after 3mths it's wearing well. Fitting is a bit of a chore due to the tacky back but in use you wouldn't know it's there.

Hi just found your forum today - great resource!

Had my Desire Z for a week now and was using a screen protector supplied with a cheap ebay case I bought. That screen protector was easy to fit mainly because it is was obviously smaller than the screen itself. The downside was it was very rigid and thick. I had to lift up the edge to remove a dust spec and it became permanently bent up at the corner a bit with a small air gap. If I had more than one of them I'm sure the second would go down ok. In use it seemed the biggest grease magnet out.

Just now fitted the HTC SP P400 and in comparison - very tight fit. No tolerance at all so the first protector was scrapped discovering this. (i'm a bit ham fisted anyway). The second one went down with almost no problem and now looks great. Good transparency and it seems less of a grease magnet than the cheapie.
