Help HTC Desire Z volume problem (lowers by itself after a call)

I have searched for forum but cannot find an answer.

My problem is:

My ringtone volume is on 100%. I call someone or someone calls me. As soon as I come out of the call, my ringtone volume is set at 1/3 ! I am not touching the volume bar by accident, so I have no idea why it is doing it! It happens after every call.

Any help appreciated, thankyou.

Please, has anybody had this problem or have an idea what might be causing it?

From the dat I posted above, it did it for a while then stopped, now it's doing it again!

Get the same problem on my Desire HD. After a restart it goes away for a while. I donwloaded a copy of ring guard off the Market which gives you a Yes No button to confirm if you want to make the volume setting change but Ive not yet found out what triggers this "feature" Since youre getting it on a different model phone Im guessing it may be OS specific. I'm on Android 2.3.3
