Root HTC evo 4g Drivers needed

are you trying to flash it to another carrier? the only drivers most need is the htc sync drivers. if you can provide us with more details on what you are trying to do, we can help or point you in the right direction better.
Yes i would like to flash it to boost mobile or metro or even cricket what ever is easier.

so the phone must be rooted to flash it? sorry iam just learning about flashing

To my understanding your Evo must be rooted prior to flashing.

it does not have to be rooted, it can be done without root access. The advantage to rooting it is once you flash the phone you can install custom roms with everything (internet, mms, etc) working.
if you want the phone flashed to metro you need to put the esn in the system and then program your phone. the guy that did mine did it for $40 or you can follow the donor esn guide and not have to pay someone to put your esn. (but i recommend paying $40 because the donor guide can be complicated if you are new to this)
