welcome to the forums!!!!!!!!!

i moved your post and created a thread for you.

so just to be sure you have the htc evo 4g+ and not the evo 4g from Sprint, correct?

are you rooted? if so do you have recovery? can you get to the bootloader screen(power+vol down)?

yes my phone is rooted and my phone have recovery (4ext recovery) and have bootloader also.

please help me soon.

When you said you were updating software, do you mean you were flashing a rom, or were you doing an OTA update?
When you go into recovery, is there an option to wipe cache and dalvik cache? Try that to see if that helps. :)

yes i'm updating my phone via inside option and after completion of downloading the zip file is not installing and that's why i removed(delete) every option of root its a korean handset only released in korea please help if there is any cutom rom for it.

no its in the phone software update option then a downloading starts after completion i started to install that file but my phone didn't respond to it and it switches off and while switching on it hangs on htc logo only after that nothing i think the previous ROM is deleted and new one is not installed that's why phone hangs on that logo what's Ur opinion.

well you should never take an update while you are rooted. at least that is the general rule. i'm not too sure about your phone though. there is just not enough info about your phone. i do not think that there is any custom roms for you to flash.

you mentioned you have recovery, correct? try wiping dalvik cache and cache and then try and do the update.

and yes to your question. if the update started and then stopped at the splash screen or bootanimation then it definitely wiped the previous rom and is having issues loading the latest update.

while i'm fashing a rom,the rom was fake that's why my bootloader is blocked

????
i'm sorry, but i did not understand what you just said.

lets do this, what does your bootloader say?
we need to know:
1. does it say locked or unlocked at the top?
2. does it say s-off or s-on?
3. what is your hboot?
4. what is your baseband(radio)?

all of this can be found in the bootloader.

now you also said you flash a rom? which rom? do you have a link? what recovery do you have?

I have just recovered from the same issue by restoring from a nandroid backup, taken right before applying the update which was automatically downloaded into my phone's sdcard after invoking update from settings>About Phone>Software updates.

Dear sachinsingh540, if the backup taken by me can help to make your phone work then I can upload the same somewhere.

** However, it will be highly appreciated if someone in this thread/ post can help us to successfully update our phones.

please send me back up of your phone if there any link or something else

a nandroid backup is phone specific. you might be able to pull some info out of it, but it will not work on other phones.

however, if you have the file for the update then that might help out much better.

but did you know where do i find custom rom for it or any link to downoad.

yeah unfortunately you picked a phone that does not have any dev support. so no i have not found any custom roms for you. for me i always will root a phone that has some dev support.

but if your bootloader is still locked with s-on and with no custom recovery, i'm not sure what you can do anyway.

HI sachinsingh540.could u plz provide me the link that from wher u got the htc x515e's custom rom and how to flash.i hope i will get reply asap.im from india.
