Root Htc evo 4g ??

Can anyone advise on what the latest version can be installed on the EVO 4G?

I have the following installed:

Andorid 2.3.3
Base = 2.15.00.0808
Kernal = 2.6.35.10
Build = 4.54.651.1

Well, I'm not quite sure what your asking, but you can root your device via rEVOlutionary.

After rooting, you can upgrade the phone to any version of android that you want.

They just came out with an OTA update, but it makes rooting the phone more complicated. Do not accept it if you want to root.

Wanted to check to see what version of android have been installed successfully so far and work correctly.

Well any version can be installed, from froyo all the way up to ice cream sandwhich. Some of the bugs are still being worked out of ICS but its possible to use it.
