HTC EVO V 4G Bluetooth echo problem

Occasionally when I am conversing with my HTC EVO V 4G connected through my home wi-fi and am using my Plantronics M1100 bluetooth, after a time an echo of my voice come through the bluetooth. If I turn the bluetooth off at the earpiece and try to continue talking the echo is still there. If I hang up and try to redial the number the phone will not connect back with the same party till I have restarted the phone and redialed.
