maybe its time for virgin mobile to make a change but I believe both but you just gotta go download the mms.apk that got the fix in it. im using aokp and I downloaded the mms.apk on here and picture messages work

Why don't you just root, recovery, and flash cm10 or aokp jelly bean.

Virgin will never update this phone to that.

If you mean me then I already got aokp running. So I no it doesn't really matter if we get official jelly bean but hey at least 3d would be working in a official I release

I did like paranandroid! I just wish CM10 had the same options as Paranandroid. But I'm currently using CM10, video is sometimes choppy and flash player doesn't work unless u manage to put it in fullscreen. Other than that its great! If you do have any questions message me. Sorry for late reply.
 
Evervolv 4.2.1 on the shooter nightly is nice! With a MMS and VVM fix everything except 3d works. Google now even talks back to me. :)

I think it's the fix for the visual voice mail either working or the bug where it would not work the same way as far as notifying you as it does on the stock based roms out there because it's a sprint voicemail app or some darn thing. :confused:
 
I can deal with the voicemail thing! Sounds like its worth a try (: I love flashing ROMS. I'm trying to see which one is best for me. Does video and WiFi tether work?
 
I just heard the Samsung galaxy S2 for Sprint is getting jelly bean soon. This probably means our phone is at end of life at virgin and sgs2 will take over

It's quite surprising to me that the GS2 is still getting support, and even an upgrade to Jellybean. Is Samsung known for extended support and development? Perhaps my next phone will be a Samsung if this keeps up.
 
That article is also 5 months old. A lot of things in the cell phone world change in that amount of time. The list now could be longer, or shorter.
That's why we have devs. :D
