As the title says its here! So go pick that shiz up. VM's website is still saying comin 5/31...how lame. They're so behind the times. Use the coupon code "SAVE20" at checkout for $20 off. Edit2: Also, Why aren't any of the retailers, including VM, specifying this as a dual core phone??

I'm not doing any speculating anymore until someone amongst us gets this phone in hand.

I had read it needs the dual core to properly use the 3D feature. I don't know. We'll see.
 
Nice find, bro. Best Buy in store pickup is great if you can find a store that gets a shipment of Evos today.

EDIT: Not in stock in my stores yet, then again, it is 9 AM. As I stated before, wait until about noon, as many stores may get their shipments today, if not, try tomorrow.
 
Let me pose this question...if my local Radioshack were to get some evo's in today, would i be able to print out my order confirmation and pick one up from them? im having it shipped to them anyways.

I wondered the same and a lady at Radio Shack said they get a listing of orders that are placed, That they are supposed to hold a phone for each person who preordered. I preordered mine on the 23rd and did site to store shipping.

The rest go out on sale after those orders are filled. I don't know for sure though as I've heard so many different stories. All I know is if other people can walk into the store and buy it while I'm still waiting for mine, Radio Shack will lose my business permanently.

That is really a gray area. I have a feeling some employees might be hesitant to do it until your specific shipment hits, but a manager would probably do it right away since it's the same product. I'd call your store and ask.

Indeed. That would be pretty sucky of them. My local opens at 10am. Im gonna go by there with order confirmation in hand and see what happens. They prob wont even have any in stock anyways. But if they do, i will post my success or lack there of.
 
I called Radio Shack once again.

This time I'm told it doesn't matter if you pre-ordered or not. You have to wait until you get your shipment in to have your phone. It doesn't matter if they have some in stock or not.

I'm a little frustrated because I was also told that the only way you'd be getting it first at a store is if you ordered IN STORE. Each store is independent and therefore give no priority to any orders placed through the website.

I was told I will receive mine by Saturday. I've learned my lesson from this big cluster of crazy. Think I'll be sticking with just waiting until it is in a store. I've never been big on buying online in the first place...
 
I'm going to make five calls out at around noon to five different stores to get their take on it. From what everyone's saying, it's sounding like no store will have it in today, but hey, it doesn't hurt to call. I'll let you guys know how it turns out... I got 3 shacks to call, a BB, and a BB Mobile store.
 
I called a couple of places today. Most of them said they had no idea when they were getting it in. One Radioshack said to call back after noon some point, because he gets an order in at noon, but he doesn't know what's on the order.

Previously, I was told that Radio Shacks get a lot of shipments on Friday afternoons. I got a feeling they will probably tell me that when I call today.
 
Just ordered mine on the shack with the Save20 coupon. I chose overnight shipping, hope it comes tomorrow but doubtful so Monday at the latest I hope!

These guys must really hate HTC now. Especially due to these names sounding the same.
