Root Htc evo wont boot but goes into fastboot

Hi I have an HTC evo. But it doesn't boot it goes into fastboot mode I can. Enter recovery but I was hoping someone knows how I get out of fastboot to boot my HTC evo what do I flash ??? Because I want my HTC evo back to normal

When you say "fastboot" do you mean the bootloader screen where it looks like this?:

You said you can get into recovery also?
Do you know what recovery you have?

o.k...fastboot and bootloader are 2 different things, I just want to be sure the correct terms are used to avoid confusion in the future:)
So when you see the word "bootloader", that will mean that screen I posted.
(sometimes referred to also as "H-boot")

Also, your recovery is a good recovery to have.

So now, when you choose reboot from your bootloader or recovery screen (available in both), what happens?

And what led to this/these events.
Also, while in bootloader, can you post back here what is listed there...everything that is listed...it may help us later in troubleshooting.:)
 
Well the phone wasn't. Working before it wouldn't show the menu screen with no apparently reason only a wallpaper a random so I wiped all data from recovery and it took me to H boot screen but it allows me to Giro recovery

o.k..Can you post back here what is listed in your bootloader screen?
You may just need to flash a rom is all to get you running :)
 
Well I know your supposed to download it put it on the SD card Vito recovery click flash zip from SD card and click it in recovery

Yeah, but some more needs to be done.
Let's do this...
First download this rom, MikG3.11, and put it on your sd card.
Dev-Host - MikG-v3.11-signed.zip - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service
When that is on your sd card, go into recovery.
At this point making a backup will not do anything as your phone cannot boot.
Although, I would back up at least wimax and recovery.
After you back those up, we need to wipe.
Wipe these things three times.
boot, data, system, cache, dalvik cache, sd-ext and .android secure.
But please, please, DO NOT WIPE YOUR SD CARD... I put that in caps because that is important.
After you wipe, then you can choose the "flash from .zip" option, find the rom, select it, flash it....wait for it to completely boot up...sometimes this will take a while...10-15 minutes or so.

I have one more question how do u unlock the lockscreen for the new flashing rom thingy how to open it when I fixes it the lockscreen would open but now I'm not finding the little cord ur supposed to lift up for this locksceen???

ok so you can't unlock the lockscreen? the lock ring is not there? not sure what you mean by "new flshing rom thingy":o:p

There isn't a cord, you just lift up on the circle lockscreen. You can also change each of the apps in the circle lockscreen as well as change the lockscreen all together inside the rom
