Root HTC fastboot? not the usb flashing thing

John Redcorn

On the stock rom there was a feature called fast boot that; if I'm correct in my assumption, worked probably somewhat like windows hibernate and just saved ram to disk.

I don't use the stock rom and probably never will use a sense rom, if I'm right about how that works, is there a separate 768mb partition it used? A partition that's probably doing nothing now? Can /data be expanded into that space?

Do you know if this partition has a name or mount point?

Doing an "cat /proc/emmc" and "df -h" i don't see anything that would resemble an 768mb partion being used. Also issuing an basic "mount" i don't see anything out of the ordinary.

I'm no expert dev but this might be a more suited question for xda.
