HTC First

not me:p

just curious as to why you ask? do you have the phone? i never heard of it, until i googled it. i at first thought you had a typo and meant the htc one:o....LOL

Yeah the HTC first got a bad reputation from the word go being the facebook phone.
But it was basically a stock android phone with the facebook home thing that could be removed.
Not a bad stock android phone as I recall people saying.

If I remember right, isn't root required to remove facebook home?

For the users not willing to root, I couldn't justify getting tied into a 2 year for this phone or even buying it out right lol too much facebook for me :p

Being an AT&T exclusive isn't exactly helping sales either.

BRILLIANT marketing strategy......

I heard neither AT&T nor HTC really care about the phone. I guess they had hoped that it would possibly sell and make a profit, but that didn't turn out too well.
I think there was an article here a couple days ago that said that AT&T is shipping back HTC Firsts to HTC.

But the fact that when you disable HTC First and it's vanilla android is interesting. I haven't seen a non-nexus device have vanilla android before.
