HTC Gingerbread update.

Hi guys first post after months of just reading some great threads. Just installed gingerbread...wow slide down notifictaion bar changed as a quick setting for wifi etc cool!! :)

htc sense ver 2.1

time to go play those that aint got it yet keep trying first attempt I had failed on sd card!! when I tried again said phone was upto date seems I was in long line and I was at the back but I got it now....Happy times guys:):):)
 
Does the display look much better? I think it's sharper and more vibrant.

Could just be the initial excitement though.

I also really like the new notification bar.
 
I checked and it said phone was up to date. Checked again 3 more times and it came through and downloaded it. Need to wait till battery's charged a bit though to install it!
Aarghh the tension!
 
apps area changed now as all apps/frequent/downloaded.... does look to be sharper and brighter screen wow seems turbo charged too
 
was hoping for the gingerbread keyboard... hmmm maybe the one from market will do would have been nice to have it native though (is this the first whinge)!

I don't know what the one in the market is like, but you can get a port of the real thing here.
 
seems snappier though! May be just imagination but apps management loaded faster and has a nice new disk usage bar at the bottom
 
First thing i noticed is a much more vibrant screen, one thing i don't like is on my app page it only scrolls up/down one page at a time with a swipe.
 
downloaded, hit the install button, says shutting down, will i be a fully fledged member of the ginger club or own a nice brick :-)
