my friend who has a G1 recently showed me his market on his phone and it is the new upgraded version (the nice white one) and i have a HTC hero on orange and i have the horrible black market, my girlfriend has the HTC Tattoo and she has the nice white market

Does anybody know if i can download it, or does anyone have it on there HTC hero?

help or information would be much appreciated.

thanks Chris (walmsley69)

I am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong but am afraid the white market is only available for 1.6 and above. I am afraid like a lot of us you will have to wait, wait and wait. You could always root.

Isn't the black market HTCs own theme?
Therefore we will get the new market but it may still be black and green?

The tattoo runs Android 1.6, so it has the newer version of the android market. We will get this once we get an update to 2.x
