HTC Hero: Tips, Tricks & Useful Apps [v1.6]

My old Hero has android 1.5.
I can nor get access to android market.
Is there any other way to download the app?

Hi, Thanks for all the tips. Can anyone please tell me how to shift applications, photos, etc from my HTC Hero Internal memory to SD card. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2, where Apps2SD is useful, but I am unable to move applications to SD on my HTC Hero. I am continuously getting a Memory Low message.
