HTC Hero - USB problem, no usb icon

Hello!

My phone dont recognize that I have connected it with an usb cable.
The phone charges when its connected thru usb cable.

The computer don't recognize the phone and the phone dosen't get any usb icon.

I've tried different usb cables, different computers, factory reset, checked usb debuging, removing battery while usb cable is connected and then put battery back.

Maybe it's the phone itself?
Anyone that got a similar problem and got a solution?

Please help!
 
So when you connect your phone, and pull down the notification icon there is no option to mount?
 
It does sound like its a problem with the phone, if you've tried it with all those different things.. :/
 
Before you send it back I would just try it with a different USB lead - it could be that

Before I went to return the phone I ran to a shop called "teknikmagasinet" and bought USB Cable A - Mini B 5pin male. And now it works! :eek:
Sync + mount !!
