Root HTC Incredible help please!

So I installed the Cyogenmod rom and now my phone only displays a black screen with white bars. So i booted in hboot, and when i go to restore option and hit the power button to choose it, my phone just reboots... I have no clue what to do...

did you make sure that you did a factory reset before you booted Cyanogen?
