HTC Incredible

I'm still not sure how credible my insider is at this point, but he told me that he found out that the HTC incredible will be released May 1st. Now he does work for Diamond Wireless, so maybe they get their phones a couple weeks later, but it was definitely disappointing for me. Since I'm a positive thinker, I'm leaning more towards Verizon stores releasing it a couple weeks earlier than a 3rd party seller like Diamond Wireless.

Guess we'll see how this turns out. At least signs are pointing to the phone releasing within a month.

I'm not disappointed in the least by that, all I really want is a solid release date and I can be happy.
 
I've been browsing different forums for awhile now and the previous Incredible thread was the longest and funniest I've ever read. I can honestly say that I checked it everyday. I did not read every post (who has that kind of time). It was amazing that I would eat dinner and afterwards there would be two more pages of posts.

I hope when the admins get back they can merge this thread with the last one and maybe it can break a record for the longest thread about an imaginary phone that might never come to light.

Yeah, I asked him if that date was set in stone for their store and he said that's what they were told yesterday. I'll let ya know if I hear anything else.
 
Its the bickering that causes threads to be closed. If everyone just quit arguing and bickering, it would be all good.

My opinion is that it's called "Official HTC Incredible Thread" and that means it should be about ANYTHING related to HTC Incredible. It shouldn't only be about news and rumors. It should be about EVERYTHING. The name of the thread is such a broad and vague term. That's why it's okay to be like a chatroom, cause it is a "forum"

im up in may too. I HATE TO SAY IT, but ATT it would probably be :-( NOOOO SLAP SOME SENSE (HTC preferably :D) into me!!!!!!!!
 
So I see we have totally made this entire forum worthless ? I was fine with the 1 thread to keep up with now what 10-20 threads most full of BS april fools shit and a bunch of people being so gulable to believe any of it. 2 days ago I loved this place now. I'd be surprised if this isn't my last post ever.

I wouldn't worry about it too much......The real info is gonna come back to this thread or back to the "Official" thread if it ever opens for us to resume our regular scheduled programming.

The people complaining are just gonna have to realized, that this constant chatter is what keeps people around, and makes this a valuable place to post new information.

Isn't the Shadow rumored to hit before August? I would guess that if that's the case, and the 6300 is delayed that long, we will all find reason to fall in love with the Shadow, Motoblur and all.
 
Prior to the unpleasantness this afternoon, I had been following the previous thread off and on while trying to decide on what new phone to buy (nexus one, incredible, or shadow) and I have to thank everyone for the info and entertainment.

Today while out, I stopped by a random verizon store near me in northern Delaware. The sales rep I talked to knew little about the phones, thought the eris had a flash for the camera, but did give me a little information. He mentioned that an HTC rep had been in there that day and even showed me the guy's card. He also mentioned that the eris would be getting an upgrade to 2.1 at some point this month according to the HTC rep, which is the first I have heard this bit of info. Just wanted to pass that along.
 
I've been following the thread days and nights without any info to contribute, but the whole time I was starving for fresh info from you guys.
The bickering made me nervous and was distracting, but I gotta admit the whole thing was entertaining.:)

I too plead to reopen the main thread.
