Saved a file from gmail. I can only attach files from photo gallery. I found my resume file in quick office. Please help.

If you use a file manager such as androzip or es file explorer, you should be able to find the file on your sd card and simply tap it, hit send and choose mail (or gmail, or whatever mail app you use). Hope this answers your question.
