HTC Sense 2.0 Custom Skins

The Delete option is greyed out. I cant press it. Any Ideas?

Once you select menu > delete, you have to tap on one of the themes (the actual screenshot of the theme) and the delete button will no longer be grayed out...and the theme will have a red "X" on it.

From there your delete button will show "(1)" and if you select a second skin to delete, the number will change next to the word "Delete".

i tried "gears" aaaaaaaaaaaaand i like!

more UB... gimmie more

<---Still confused

You know I don't make these themes right?

BTW...I really like the Uber Green one...but the "9" and the "0" look identical on the HTC Clock widget...that really ruins the whole thing for me :(

Just keep doing what I'm doing...check this thread cause Gadget seems to be updating pretty frequently.

I downloaded a few of the skins and changed the file to .apk in astro. The skins show up and im able to change them the only problem is the widgets are still stock and do not look like the ones in the photos. I'm new to this so sorry if this is a stupid question. any help would be great. Thanks

NO stupid question 'round here partner, just the ones that arent asked!!

hmm widgets not skinning, thats new to me. how are you downloading them? like, computer then folder to change to .apk?

and anybody thats interested, chrome to phone works like a charm here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didnt use my pc at all just downloaded them directly into astro on the phone itself. some came in .apk so i didnt change those but changed the other ones to .apk both ways didnt work. I just noticed a bunch of new stuff in my photo gallery that looks like it could be the images. I have no idea how they would get there. Im totally lost.

Ok Im completely lost. This is my first droid and I've had it about 5 days. Ive been able to transfer music and such to my phone, but I cant get these to work.

I downloaded the files off of that site. They saved as a .apk. Then I copied them onto my sd card, but they are not under my skin options. What is this astro that I have to do? Did I copy them right? Thanks

EDIT: Google solved my problems....I feel stupid.

You have to install the apk file. Think of apk as Android's version of an exe file.

Download Astro file manager (free app from the market). Open Astro, navigate to the apk skin files and then select one. It will prompt you to browse file or open app manager. Select open app manager and then install the file.

Once you do this, you will see that skin when you go into the personalization menu.
