Help HTC Sense Clock app and widget - again

Long time reader, first time (in a long time) poster.

I have been struggling with this clock disappearing issue for weeks now. I just happened to stumble upon this thread tonight and was thrilled to find that there is an update available. According to this update on VZ's website, this update is a fix for the clock, among other things as well.

I'm updating as I type and hope to have the same luck as others have.

UPDATE: The alarm clock is now in the app drawer and it launches when tapping the clock widget. All of my previous alarms and world clock cities are still present as well. Fantastic.

no idea if this would be the right place to ask, but it has to do with the clock widget, just not this particular issue.

is there any way to make it default to the Alarm screen when i press the clock, instead of opening the world clock screen? i have no reason to ever adjust the settings of the world clock. well, not never, but FAR less often than i would need to change an alarm setting.

Have you tried rearranging the order of the icons? Long-press any of the icons in the clock app and then drag them left or right. Try moving the alarm clock icon to the far left and it should automatically come up when you tap the clock widget, particularly if it is the last utility used before returning to the home screen.

tried this even before i posted. no dice =/

I didn't know you could change the icon order. Huh! Anyway, I confirm the order of the icons makes no difference in the default function.

FWIW, I hit the timer's reset button while the timer was stopped, and now I seem to be defaulting to the timer.

You can rearrange the icons in the all apps drawer by doing this. I took the Verizon ones off because I didn't want to see them anymore. I ;)
Then I slid the star (favorites) to the front.
Upon opening it defaults to the favorites.
