Help HTC weather and clock on the X

Getting my X today !!!! Fed-X says it is out for delivery

I have had both the EVO 4G and the Incredible. I for, one at least, happen to be a big fan of the HTC Sense UI.

Does anyone know of an app that would have the stock clock/weather app so i can install it on the X?

Beautiful Widgets its not free but its as close as you can get to Sense clock.

Look for fancy widget apk looks great and free

Get Fancy Widget. It isn't on the Market anymore so you will have to find the apk file online and manually install it to your SDcard.

Fancy Widgets is pretty much an exact copy. I think beautiful widgets is a better app.

It is fairly easy to find the APK file for Fancy Widget. Do you know how to manually install it?

I am pretty sure i just put the .apk file in the root directory of the SD card?

Just plug your Droid X into your PC. Make sure the USB Connection is under "USB Mass Storage" (I think that's what it is called). Just copy and paste the the apk file into your sd card. Use Apps Installer on your phone to install the apk.

To get the Sense looking home screen you can use LauncherPro with a custom theme.

I tried that and i installed it. But it won't show up.

this may sound like a dumb question but how do u scan the link codes from your phone....i have tried to highlight and click on the scan code and nothing happens nor can I find an app for this?

I don't know, $1.92 for an app I use daily seems like an aweful lot. Plus, Beautiful Widgets gets updated and has hundreds of free downloadable skins; seems like too much for me.

beautiful widgets is nice, and fancy is an exact copy, but weather and toggle widgets is basically a customizable sense weather/clock and its cheap
