HTC Widget - Notes

Hey guys, I know the HTC widgets are simple and have been explained. But in searching I could not find a thread addressing this (sorry if I'm wrong :o)

Has anyone tried going to 'Get more HTC widgets' and try downloading 'Notes' ?
I've had no success. I'm running 2.1 v2...I'm guessing that is the reason in itself, but any insight would be greatly appreciated! :D

I have 2.1v2 and I have it. Try clearing the htc widgets cache and try again. Or you can download the apk here, I posted it in another thread about the widgets.

Yeah you do need 2.1 but do what thenester said.

Go to settings>applications>manage applications>scroll down>HTC widgets>clear cache.

It worked for me, not sure if i like the widget cause it takes up a whole screen but it is useful. good luck.

The widget works, had it on my screen furthest to the left and it drained my battery this morning. Only used my phone to make a couple calls and some texts. Didn't even use the internet and poof battery was gone. I deleted the widget and uninstalled.

I can access the 'Notes' widget it but it never loads (stuck at 'loading') and the download fails to install.

Cleared cache, don't think I had any since I don't use any HTC widgets, used the .apk download link and it worked. For the hell of it I tried to download it again, and it actually loaded this time. Even though I messed with 3G/Wifi to see anything with the download initially I'm sure it was that anyways.

Thanks nonetheless guys
