Help Huawei Ascend TapouT?

I've been trying to find a video on it with reviews, but no luck. Just wondering if anybody here has it? The main reason I want it is for the 2.2 . Also, are all the wallpaper/video/apps relating to TapouT removable? My samsung solstice has locked phone wallpapers that it won't let me delete. I just don't want to get the phone and see all kinds of TapouT stuff on it all the time. Lol. Thanks in advance.

the 2.2 is not officially out, we do have cm6 which is 2.2 froyo, please look in the all things rooted thread...
 
I'm aware that 2.2 isn't out for the regular Ascend, I'm talking about the Ascend TapouT, from Metro PCS.

It has 2.2, but I'm just wondering if the TapouT media is removable. I was told it was on the Micro SD card, but I'm just trying to make sure. I wouldn't want TapouT stuff as wallpaper and all that other stuff.
 
I believe it's possible to remove it. Though I can't be completely sure.

Also Pip and others are working on making that rom work perfectly on the regular Ascend. Pip has it working with Data/MMS but Wifi is still not working.

Yes. You can remove the Tapout stuff. Ihave one. That I bought just to get Pip and Isaac the info off the phone.

I was able to delete the videos, but how do you delete the wallpapers and the tap out app? Sorry for such a noob question, im new to the android os and just got the phone on monday. thanks in advance.

Without getting into the os you are going to have to settle for just changing the wallpaper and hold down on the app and drag it into the trash can.
