Help Huge GS5 Problem

I recently did a hard reset on my Galaxy s5 .. It started working perfectly fine for a few minutes and suddenly the screen went black, it doesn't turn on what so ever but the touch keys light up, the only way to turn the phone back on is by taking out the battery and powering it back on but as soon as the screen dims it will no longer turn back on .. help?:(

Can't you get a replacement?? If my brand new device was having issues like that right from the start, I would get a new one.

If after just getting a new device you start experiencing a severe issue like that I would definitely agree with Brian706 on this one... Recommend getting a new device as well. There is no logic in keeping a device that could be potentially defective.

It's probably just a quirk, get a new one and start enjoying your new S5!

You have 14 days to return your device from the date of purchase without a penalty (assuming there was a defect). I turned mine in the day after and got a new replacement for a minor issue with my power button that I could have lived with. The Sprint store was more than happy to help me out.

I would think so. If it's a defect, it's under manufacturer warranty anyway.
