So my Evo has been rooted for a while. I have had no issues with the phone until it came to deleting data from my SD card. i had a full card. I would try to delete useless photos and songs that i never really use, but it would still show that the SD card was still full even though the photos and the songs were missing. Soo I hit factory reset, not knowing that it would completely wipe out my entire phone. Now my phone just boots to the recovery screen. and it shows that there is no data on the sd card or the phone. Almost as if the internal data is completely lost. I figured im screwed but i thought Id post this before i buy a new one. thanks for the help.

welcome to the forums!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so can you boot up at all? if you have recover then you can at least go back to a nandroid backup.

as far as deleting your stuff on your card, i always backup of my sd card from time to time. not sure why doing a factory reset would delete your card though. did you do it in recovery?

you can try this:Recuva - Undelete, Unerase, File and Disk Recovery - Free Download. never used it but it might help.

If you wiped your phone and all of your nandroid backups its not the end if the world. A pita, but not hopeless. If you don't have any nandroids, just download one of the stock roms and flash it from recovery like any other custom Rom.
You will essentially have to start over but the phone "should" be fine.
