Root hydra kernal (and kernals in general) questions

Hi, I just recently rooted my phone and am interested in installing a new kernel. I am mostly interested in overclocking, so i was looking for hydra kernels, but I cant find them anywhere. So i have a few questions:

1. Does anyone know where to get hydra kernel? specifically oc?

2. Is there another and possibly better kernel i should be using?

3. If I do install another kernel and I am forced to wipe my phone, will the combination of nandroid restore and titanium backup restore basically bring my phone back to life on the new kernel? Anything else i should backup/restore?

4. If i do install a new kernel and it is unstable/ i dont like it, I can reinstall the stock kernel right?

5. Am i ok installing another kernel on stock 2.2? I dont really feel like flashing a rom, but im open to it if i have to

if a kernel doesn't work, you have to restore a backup or flash another kernel... but all kernels found there will work, except for AOSP kernels, if flashed properly.

But fyi, overclocking the incredible is not worth it.

What about undervolting? Does it have an apparent benefit to battery life without overly detracting performance?

most people undervolt and underclock without any noticeable performance decrease.

Hydra link appears to be broken but don't go looking for them. He hasnt been making kernels for this phone since pre-Froyo.
